Daddy's Girl : Childrens Poetry

written by Poet : Paul McCann

Little baby girls grow up,
soon they're someone's flames,
they're running down fun street
playing their little games .
At school they say
don't you know how to walk don't run.
Soon school will be over
and they'll be out for fun .
With that school girl grin
life for them will just begin
when love walks through the door .
Be happy, don't give in.
Keep your head up,
don't let them see you cry .
No tears for Daddy's girl
only happiness through the years .
When it's time for Daddy's girl to become a bride,
I'll be right there standing proud
and tall by your side . I can't hold back time
but here as I watch you grow,
one thing that never changes I think you should know .
You will always be Daddy's precious baby girl
and I love you more than anything in the world .
