Little boys and little girls love the simple things
like balls and dolls
or fluffy toys and water wings
colouring books, listening ears,
a helping hand
Yes sometimes Christmas things are all they understand
Christmas things for little boys,
things like simple toys or comic books ,
reassuring looks can bring him joy
so if you have a little boy ,
let it be known on Christmas day
for soon he'll be a man .
Christmas things for little girls
things like little bows for their little curls
polish for their little toes
take them into town shopping for some fancy clothes
as heaven knows how quickly a little girl grows .
Christmas things for all of us , for we all like toys ,
We like to party and make some noise .
We don't care to be forgotten at all.
We waiting for Christmas to fall ,
We've all been good and yes , Santa knows .
