In the town tonight you'll see , a lot of activity .
Excitement is running high underneath the starry sky ,
Some come dressed up for the part ,
its almost about to start .
Christmas presence in this place ,
filing up each open space
Light a candle in the park ,
singing carols in the dark .
All the people gathered there ,
serenade the evening air .
The orchestra plays aloud ,
to young and old in the crowd
Soon it will be Christmas day .
Silent night is on its way .
It's so good to stay out late
There's no fear and its great .
