He stands at the station and he wishes you well
He's got buckets of roses to sell ,
he looks at the faces of the crowd passing by
and he'd smile as he'd look in their eye
Each has a story to busy to tell
He's got buckets of roses to sell .
Its not for the money and its not for the show
Its his life an everybody knows
He's got buckets of rises to sell
For the price of a bunch it could brighten you lunch
In a city that's stressed out as hell .
There were no roses when I buried my wife
We were only wed three years .
All that I have left now are memories of her
Washed in a sea of tears .
From dawn to dusk you can trust he'll be there
He's got buckets of roses to sell .
And when they're all gone ,the last train he'll be on
Until morning brings him back again .
To the place that's his and will always be
He's got buckets of roses to sell .
