If I am left afflicted at Christmas Lord ,
may I discover your joy .
If I'm out of work this Christmas Lord,
may only your hope in me employ .
If I am feeling left out from the crowd ,
Lord include Christmas within me.
If I am imprisoned at Christmas Lord ,
May I find a way to be free .
If I should mourn this Christmas Lord ,
Let it not be for what I have not had .
If I should find anger in hearts this Christmas Lord
May your peace make me glad .
If people talk about me at Christmas Lord
may I not forget what's true .
If I should die this Christmas Lord
I will have everlasting life with you .
