Dear God give strength to my Father,
help him to be patient with me .
The child who never listens ,
the child who refuses to agree .
Help my Father to carry on when
he can't see the reason why ,
or when he's ready to cry
or when he just doesn't want to try .
Dear God help my Father to do the things
That he just cannot bear .
Be with him in the situation'
Where his children never care .
Help this child to grow in appreciation
of his father more .
God help him to be at peace ,
when the demanding child won't gives in .
I know you can change people in time .
God help this father of mine.
God help my Father to be at peace with life instead of angry .
Bless my Father and all fathers
For without them where would we be .
