From all over the world the Olympic tribe will unite,
under one sporting code, the competition is our rite .
There are Asians and Africans English and Arabs too ,
some of us have been around for years ,
some of us are new .
Before the Olympics are over let's say thank you very much ,
For every spark of genius and for every little touch .
When we see the world talk together with one common voice ,
We can enjoy with the athletes as they all rejoice .
Spectators young and old , black and white , all try to fit in .
We say hello for a while , hoping our country will win .
It's a nice feeling to belong and it fills us with pride .
To share part of the glory of a happy sporting tribe .
