Winter winds bring things to chill us
and when we get an air born virus
warm thoughts just seem to drift away .
Some people will incite us
with bigotry despite us
being righteous in every kind of way.
But Poets always write us
words that enlighten us,
and they brighten up the colour of our day.
So that's why I'd like thank you,
for inspiring others to make the world a better place today .
