I know that God loves me
because he send me a friend like you .
So my friend I pray that God
will help in everything you do .
.
Jesus keep my friend safe today
and tomorrow as well .
May his ears be open
to whatever's tolling in the bell .
If I die before my friend
that would be difficult I know ,
but friendship never dies ,
it only waits for a new hello .
When the final banquet's been made
keep him a place next to me,
Then I won't be lonely Lord
in a place called eternity .
All I ask of you
is to remember me at communion .
Then when you do in your heart
we shall have a brief reunion .
In Gods keep are friendships deep,
so be it then entrusted there .
Just in case I should die my friend ,
I'm sending you on this prayer .
