Jesus was born long ago in Bethlehem ,
and a saviour came for women and for men .
Christmas is the birthday of Christ our saviour .
Happy birthday Jesus Christ you are my friend .
There are some friends who's help you can rely on ,
And they're always there to help you get along .
At Christmas time all the world is reminded ,
Of the greatest friend who saved us from our wrong .
There are times when we think we've been forgotten ,
And times when so called friends have treated us bad ,
But at Christmas the gift of knowing Jesus
Is by far the greatest gift I've ever had .
It's good to know there's a friend to count on ,
When everyone else disappoints somehow ,
I know the friendship that Jesus has for me
Has been there even before my life till now .
It times to celebrate Christmas in the world
so happy Christmas to you Jesus my friend .
I've had some friends come and I've seen some friends go ,
I know Jesus our friendship will never end .
