Hiding in a deep cave near the beach
where no intruders can ever reach .
Large hermit crabs stay out of the way .
Where time stands still every night and
day .
Sheltered in their shells crabs dwell in there where the hermit can not be stripped bare .
Deep in a cave they've crept away years , where there was no need to crawl with fears .
Cave creatures in a place that is safe , where they have locked out the human race .
An unseen hand reaches in the cave .
Crabs for the first time had to be brave .
They left the cave and crawled out from there , where rock pools invited in the glare .
Pool creatures hide a lot under rocks .
Doors to the world the hermit locks .
