Happy Independence Day
For those who fought for it, its said
The taste of freedom white, blue and red
Will never fade, it is here to stay
On this Independence day
Oppression, tyranny and tax
Were the three deciding facts
That made us go to
We will have our Independence Day.
Find a veteran and thank them true
For all they’ve sacrificed for you
Because sacrifice is the only way
To get an Independence day.
