Invisible children of the world

not seen or heard

attached to silence

of unspoken words

wandering aimlessly

around in poverty

starvation their enemy

dried up wells

of empty shells in sand

washed away by polluted waters

bellies swollen from hunger

skin and bones in skeleton form

crying for their parents

ailing in moan.

Hearts broken

seeking shelter

looking for help to save them

from disaster of death's demise

of the hurting spirit biding time.

Invisible children

not seen or heard

attached to silence

of unspoken words

disappearing without a trace

from the human race.
