Elegist Verse
I will gladly admit I am the starkly versifier
A writer who composes contempt in rhyme
The candid rhythms of my authored prose
I sing the creative assonance of my time
With voices of a sonneteer aplomb by emotions
I hold no regret speaking the propensity of my soul
Among the defined compilations of creativity
Afflictions are my perseverance of control
I am a disputed proper poet bemocked by all adversity
Standing unashamed like a bard scoffing viral distain
Knowing no amount of spurn can divert my elegist verse
from the rhythmic derisions in my lyrical poetess reign
