I set across the table from you,
and watch your smiling eyes of blue;
I look into your face so dear,
and know I have nothing to fear.
For on your smiling face I see;
all the love you hold for me;
I know that now is not the time,

For now we have memories to share,
of how much we've learned to care;
and in moments of quiet rest,
