Every time a life is lost,
the world experiences a holocaust.
The earth trembles in great pain,
every time a child is slain.
Our sorrows cause the wind to blow,
when to the cemetery we must go.
The heavens cry in sheets of rain,
when the precious child is slain.
The rivers run over their banks in flood,
when anyone spills a child's blood.
As those things brought us woe,
the mountains let their lava flow.
Every time a child is slain,
all Gods' earth feels the pain,
We need to stop that deadly trend,
so, on us the children can depend.
But since we did not stop the desecration,
we caused the earths' devastation.
God looked down upon the world,
and all His vengeance He unfurled.
