Poem for my Man : Love Poetry

Won't you come set me free

Free from a life of sorrow

and negativeity

I don't know what I did to be cursed

with this life filled with proverty

I work so hard

but I get no where

Won't you please come and set me free

I set by the window

and I watch for thee

One little glimpse to know you still care

When you knock on the door

I run like a mad woman

You pull me to you into your arms

Take away all the pain

With a simple kiss

I hope that your here to stay

For the lonliness without you

I can not bare

Set by my side and grow old with me

Savor each moment we have

For time passes quickly

So while you are with me

I do not take for granted

every moment we have to share

In the bed at night I watch you sleep

Look at your wonderful face

And remember all the times you were not here

But not now

Your here to stay

And we will fight the battle together
