She's sleeping in her bed alone now
He's no longer next to her
Death has taken him away from her
and their children
A tumor on the brain
The doctors couldn't remove it all
She now carries the burdens alone
I can see the pain on her face
The stress is not hidden from us all
I can see it's taking it's toll
Getting up each morning
To face the world alone now
without him by her side
I can understand her pain
Tho I have not lost a man in death
I have lost him to rejection
And sometimes that's just as lonely as death
My heart goes out to her
I can only pray for her
That she knows he went to a better place
Saving her a spot next to our Lord
