i write this poem for no one
disenfranchised ghouls
of the great tunnel
hiding, running
my mind is bent
bent on the tracks
for all to see
which do i loathe more?
the petty world i fear
or myself
powerless to breathe
in the courage of protest
sometimes i feel
the delicate weaving
that is love yet
it never settles on
a dreary skull or calms
an erratic heart
what to struggle for?
when everything turns grey
i lose motivation
yearning hopelessly
for Lothlorien
her shimmering forests
the sylvan queen laughing
on throne of silver oak
man's mind creates
& admires beauty then
destroys w/such severity
i, Pilate
i wash my hands of it
looking away to dreams
of solar palaces
i am a coward
