Today marks the time for giving and sharing The seasons are changing and the cold winds are coming The Lights come on and the presents are bought And children sleeping for the person they expect to come I ain't talking about Jesus but that fella Santa Claus That Hollywood proclaiming as a god
Only God would know everything
Only God knows
What you have ever wanted or needed
But some man in a red suit with white hair says
he knows everything. Ha!
Jesus Christ came to give us his life by becoming a
man
Santa Claus only gives gifts once a day a year
But yet, he gets all the praises and worship
Jesus Christ walked this earth for a time, then died
and was resurrected
Santa Claus doesn't show himself until Christmas day
has come
Jesus Christ gives eternal life by coming through him
Santa Claus gives us only whatever we wanted-our
desires
I asked Santa Claus a day, ”Can you give me a toy?
He give me
I asked Jesus, ”Can you help me walk the Christian
life? He helped me
I asked Santa, “Can you give me a son?” He said
to me, “I cant do that”
I asked Jesus the same and in nine months I got twin
boys
I tell Santa, “I want to see you before Christmas”
But what did he do....Hmph! Nothing!
So I went to Jesus and said, “I want you to come”
And he came in the form of a man that was wounded for
our transgressions
With white robes and a sash that is golden
Pierced hands and feet and a heart that was broken
Because we have turned to worship some man as a god
So who will you praise on this Christmas say
Jesus Christ or some man that only shows himself once a
day a year
Make your choice today
And to you that have listened to what I had to say
Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
