As the sun come up and seek out the field
The grass, the trees and flower patch that yield
To see and behold a lovely rose
Sitting in a field of daffodils
A report on the sun and flower in the field of love
I seek you out, you hide your face
By closing your bud when I pass by there
As I pass through the clouds and go away from you
You show yourself to me as a beautiful flower in view
Shining with sparkles as your leaves fill with dew
You are shy to open and bear no fruit
And take shelter to your friends that will bear fruit for you
They bear, you hide, but show me your flower petals
So I came down into the field to see you better
You slip away in a field of daffodils
I go down by my way leaving a light, a glimmer
Then you show yourself as I pass away once more
A invitation to see you again tomorrow
From the field of love, a relationship between the sun and the flower
Again I see you but this time alone
Sitting in the field of daffodils
They have shut up their buds and left you there now
So you turned away from me, again once more
I shine my light so brightly that you slowly turn around
Revealing your hidden fruit and a lovely smell, a delicacy in sight
I wonder if I should see you again, maybe, just maybe, I might
Respond to your invitation to see you again, tomorrow
From the field of love, a relationship between the sun and the flower
Here I am again,my love
Who was sitting in a field of daffodils
But now I am here, where are you?
All I see is a big oak tree that was blocking my view
Saying the flower which you saw,no longer wants to see you
And at last I went my way from the field of love
With tears in my eyes I went behind a cloud
Adieau! Au revoir, to the end of...sigh!
A secret relationship between the sun and the flower
