Today I walked on Holy ground. Somehow I felt the same.Funny when I looked down, All I saw was dirt. I walked the trail of holy men, I imagined how piercing nails hurt. Then my eyes looked down, And again all I saw was dirt.
I closed my eyes again to see a loving savors face. It somehow made me realize. Holy is not a place. And all the beauty of the hand of God is deep within me. Funny when I closed my eyes I began to see.
Would you turn the other cheek, When slapped across the face? Would you give shelter to someone without a place?Would you forgive those who hurt you and use you? If so your love is true. And holyness has begun it's work inside of you.
I know I will fail I have so many times. I can only rely on faith, pray and keep on trying. So many years I learned to fight trying to protect myself. It's hard to take all the world taught and put it on a shelf. But when I'm blind I learn to see. through the faith he instilled in me.
For I could never love, lest he first loved me.I could never see lest he set me free.
