My dark hair now replaced with hair that is white. My eyes have grown dimm, making it hard to see the light The smooth skin with wrinkles now replaced. Old age is the hardest thing I ever had to face.
Most of my friends have passed with the breeze. To another plain, where there is no sickness or disease. My roots have been torn away, as has my heart. Now that I'm old in this world it's hard to make a new start.
I now no longer take anything for granted. Every life is special and can not be replaced. Each a part of the picture, each deserving there own space. Somewhere in my old age. Wisdom has somehow turned the page.
