The ground now covered in a blanket of white. Cold the wind that blows on this Christmas night. Wondering back to the first Christmas morn. After the night Jesus was born. I wonder if the wise men knew. Jesus would be scrorned as the king of the Jews.
I wonder if Mother Mary knew what was in store? Did she know he would be turned away at many hearts door? Did she know of the beating for our sins he would take. Did she know in the end his heavenly father would forsake? Did she know of the crown of thorns? Or of the blood, when by the nails his hands and feet were torn.
Oh the first Christmas, what a joy. The birth of the king, ababy boy. Wrapped and placed in a manger. Seems hardship and pain were no stranger. And with each passing day. We watch as with his blood our sins taken away. Now in my mind I try and comprehind.A savor born in a world of sin.
