Sad Little Clown : Adult Poetry

written by Poet : cavirzanee

I watched as the darkness fell upon my hillside home.  A very rainy summer day. Like the day before. But today I'm alone. Ain't it funny how the rain can bring the best man down. Age has brought you pain. I'm your sad clown.

Little derby hat, with a flower larger than the sun. A sad little clown tear in your eye. Tell me what it is that makes you cry? And where do tell, did you get that gun? Tell is it real,or is it just for fun?

What, do you dream again? are you somehow under her spell? She slaps your face, ask where you been. Says she'll send you back to hell. Time to get out of this place. At least as far as I can tell. You gave your all, nothing left to sell. Don't let it take it's toll. Sad little clown don't sell your soul.

Can you hear the laughs? I guess they did it once again. The blunt of the jokes sad little clown. Blood baths, Make them pay for there sins. Sad little clown, Painting the room red. He looks all around. Everyone is dead.
