Queen Nuberien : Ballad Poetry

written by Poet : cavirzanee

A cold damp air fills the night. In silence, She reigns supreme. Her home  high in the mountain heights. Where clouds make you feel you're in a dream.

Thunder roars with a wave of her hand. Cold as an ice storm. With an iron fist she rules the land. Yet her smile like the sun so warm.

Now the king is gone, no prince to take his place. My lady the one, To rule the human race. The Jester's in the courtyard. The pauper almost home.Who gave out the cards. Then left us alone.

She takes my breath with a touch of her hand. Her hair as golden as the desert sands. For her, men fight and give their all. Within her light we can not fall. Queen Nuberien.
