What has happened? Has all concepts of reality lost their way? Deception seems to rule your night. As your imagination creates pictures from the sounds in the night. Frightning things, Certainly representive of your state of mind.
"How true," you ask? Are not those things there in the day? Are the sounds not confused by the colors that surround them? Deminishing your fear? Or is there nothing to fear? Be it day or be it night? Has the darkness decieved you? Can you see the truth in the light?
I heard the tapping, the constant tapping. The creek of the stairs. Tricks played by my mind, as wonder swirls the images around in my mind.A switch, The light has allowed me to understand, perception fear. Darkness has hidden those things which are there everyday.
Those thing never feared. Except when under the cover of night.When senses are acute. And darkness deception reigns. Goose bumps, perception fear, Every sound a play of the mind. Examine closely, reason true. Fear only that which can destroy the soul.
