The mice come in from the field. Searching for shelter from the cold. Is their fate sealed? The farmers wife is getting old. The carvers knife now rusted and dull I wonder who will take the fall.
I guess it's been a hundred years. Since the mice tails she did take. Now they run without fear. Instead of cheese they'll be eatting steak. And as in any nursery rhyme. Everything changes with time.
