I hear alot of people talking about how commercialized Christmas has become. How to the music of angels, their heart's have gotten numb. If only we could see past all the lights and frills. Look through Jesus' eyes, see how he feels.
We have taken the birth of a savior. Put it on a shelf commercialized his day. We've done it all ourself. We complain about the cost. How everyones out to make a buck. Somehow a poor child in the manger's story got lost. But it didn't happen by luck.
Somewhere down the line We all have lost our way. There is no joy in giving. When you don't focus on the day. A day when Jesus was born. To give his life away. Now the veils been torn. Salvation to every man. yet again we are blind. blood on our hands.
So when it all get's to much, look deep inside your heart. Jesus gave his all. That's what touched me from the start. And if I forget the reason. To whom is it pleasing? For Jesus is the real reason for the season.
