I awoke to the brightest of lights, it seems like yesterday. Caught up in a world so dark, it's easy to lose your way. Just a traveler thru this land, With no place to lay my head. No more to take a stand. All my thought go back to the words you said.
So many voices calling out my name, in the middle of the night. I pull the covers above my head, to tremble now in fright.Just a man searching for the soul, I lost along the way. The years have taken there toll, pain the price I had to pay.
If I'm dreaming wake me. I can't take much more. If from this life I must pass. Open up the door. I cry out from my heart, In a tongue I never knew. As tears fill my eyes, My soul screams out to you..........
