Christmas lights all a glow. In the silence I sit and pray. For Christmas is more than gifts. More than just a day. The celebration of a king. A savior to us all. I sit in darkness as carolers sing. Staring at the wall.
So much has happened in this past year. I don't really understand. So in the silence of this night. I pray Jesus will reach down his healing hand. To hear her cry cuts like a knife. She is my love, She is my wife.
I pray oh lord deep from within my soul. Knowing I'm just a man. But you Lord are the healer. Reach down your nail scarred hand. Touch her as she's sleeping. heal her. Take her pain stop her weeping.
And I will give you praise, now and the rest of my days. For I know you are the reason for the season. Heal her. No doulting can I afford. I know you are my Lord.
