As I learn, age has made it's mark.And time has begun again.What distant thoughts that plague my mind. Has there been a reason. And in my reason have I lost my love. Or have I never known the fruits of my labor? Has love been the illusion? Has the daily grind of life taken my soul? Have I let the pain take control? Have I gotten hardened with the brutal assult of time? Damn the coming of the end. Why must I travel through the portal again? That one chance has it gone? Have I wasted love with the constant fear? The fear of rejection. The fear of the unknown? Have I allowed the scars of time to deaden the expression of my soul? Is my spirit broken? What is the beauty of my death? For soon I must go. I have spoken with those we call angles in a song only they can hear. Why by my lovers hand? Have I failed to gain love? Or is it love that I should go this way? I fear what I have become. Soon to be reborn. God save the world as I have failed. I have failed. I have failed. No more tears to cry. I have failed.
