The sky was dark as I walked home on what started out being a hot August night. Soon the coldness of the rain beating down on me had me soaked. The wind blew as the trees waved in the wind. I rushed to get home knowing this was no ordinary storm.
I'd been drinking rum at Shotgun's Tavern. A little bar about 2 miles from my home. I stayed till closing. Shotgun ask me if I needed aride, but I told him no. Not knowing there was a storm brewing. I had walked about a mile when I saw what I thought was lightning. It lit the sky up. Suddenly through the trees I saw three lights in the shape of a triangle. They darted upward then back towards me. As the lights got closer the ground began to shake. What the....I thought. never seeing any plane that could move in such a pattern at such speeds. The lights started following me as I walked faster. I stopped the lights stopped. All of the sudden the brightest light I ever saw blinded me. Putting me helplessly on the ground. I couldn't move. My body felt as if it were being pressed to the ground. That was the last thing I remember. I'm still not sure how I got home. But I was. Actually I was lieing in my bed. Could I have dreamed the whole thing or did this happen, I thought.......{to be continued}
