Homecoming : Adult Poetry

written by Poet : cavirzanee

Words as sharp as a two edged sword. Slicing deep into my heart. Ripping flesh and breaking bones. Tearing the soul apart.

Does your hate for me burn in your veins. A fire burning the deepest of places. Must you spew your vile contence, Upon every heart stained by his blood. Empty faces, Never tence. Only lost somewhere along the way. A start,To what end who can say?

Homecoming or am I just dead? Is this the begining or will it be the end? Clouds sit in my judgement. I run in my sin. As it was said. That I must relive it again.

Lost, lonely child. Divided from the truth.Promising a light on that day.  Eyes wild, terror from the roof as fire spreads And oceans wash it all away. Where now shall I lay my head? Where shakll I stay?
