Halloween : Holiday Poetry

written by Poet : cavirzanee

The air is colder than yesterday. The pumpkin sits waiting to display. Jack-o-lantern, terror in his eyes. The ghostly screams. The witches cry. Children delight, candy or fright. Tis it the day,tis the night. Halloween, with all it's chills and thrills.  Lock the door, vampires out of there coffin come. Tell me what do they seek? Is it blood. Is it candy. Is it a vampire? No it's Randy. The boy next door. Trick or treat. Kind of neat. You can be who ever you please. Superman or Mr. Freeze. One night a year. I think it's clear. only one Halloween. Come out and play, A different scene. The one the only, Halloween.
