I saw your name in the paper today. Said you died from an over dose. You always like to party your blues away. Never let anyone get to close.
But you were a friend of mine. Sometimes hard to understand. the things you did. Wish I saw the signs. or heard you crying out from when we were kids.
Your life was hard, growing up without a dad. He died in a drunken stupper. So your mom was all you had. We thought we were so strong, we thought ourselves super.
Now I have to see my friend lieing in a coffin. If only I had is all I can say. But I did talk to you often. You had to do it your way.
Goodbye my friend even with Evan, Remember that's always what we said. Rot gut whiskey Pills and cocain, finally left you dead.
Evan Williams found by your bedside. A needle still in your vein. Sometimes the pain is hard to hide. Your could have been....drives you insane.
So I guess you got even with Evan and now gone the worlds pain. So I guess I'll say goodbye. I think it's starting to rain. So again I say goodbye.......
This poem dedicated to a dear friend who took the wrong path. I pray his spirit has found peace.......
