Cool waters run across my feet. As I sit in the heat of the day.I watch the children in the creek. As they swim and play.
Oh how time has come and gone. kind of like the breeze. Yet so much has been learned. So many have been pleased.
Life it was so simple then. Yet I wonder what has really changed? I just a bit older now. Think it was all prearranged.
Relationships have come and gone. memories sustain.Amazing how it all has passed,With few to complain.
While I lay here contemplating all that has been. I'm forced to look at myself. To see my true sins.
How shall I run from my past When it is always there. In every thing I see and do The memories last. My heart still cares. Even if we're through.
