Blue waters on golden shores : Classical Poetry

written by Poet : cavirzanee

I have no gold built up in this lonely land. For gold never mattered to me. I don't have diamonds, or possessions. When I leave this world. I'll leave free.

I see so many building up kingdoms in this land. But when I took a walk on a deserted road. I saw it had grown over. Then I saw a crumbling aboad.

I walked past a salvage yard to see so many vehicles inside. Ripped and torn, Rusting buckets. No longer good to ride.

I guess when I was born I to my blanket I did cling. But now that I'm old I have no need of those things. Everything here on earth soon shall pass away. You can't take itwith you. And I haven't seen anyone who stayed.

For we all must pass through this world. Dirt to fill our shoes. But I'm looking up for I know things were ment to lose.
I want those things noone can takeaway. I want to feel love, peace and joy. So here I can not stay.

Over in another place where there are no wars. Over to another place. Blue waters flow on golden shores. Family and friends I'll meet on that day. They had to go before to show me the way. Then the crowd will part. Oh the glory of my lord. There to speak words of truth, burnt upon my heart. Where I will toil no more.

So you can have all the gold. I have no use for it as you can see. I only want to feel the love. Promised long ago to you and me......
