Is God so cruel,
that he will lay
desires upon our hearts and minds?
To never provide,
the avenue to bestow the world
their gifts
to a world- that worships falsehood
Vain pursuits of empty glory and fame
Is fate so unkind,
the universal judgment- so sour it grants fame
To the most evil servant
Who vainly pursues his idleness, and their own psyche
and is worshipped for it,
remembered
Coined by history, and hailed as genius
Yet the most talented, humbled servant
Is left in the infinity of the unknown
Hearing, recording the voices of the heavens
Writing the music of the cosmos
Knowing they hear the voice of God
And none hear them,
Because they- the all of the world
serve the lesser God,
the daemon within humanity
Yet the fates-
Bestow them fame, honor and glory
Then the few the living-within service-
know they hear the genius of God
Record it knowing they are guided
Yet with every cord they strike, write
And keyed stroke of harmony
-they know it is
guided by fate to find they are hated for it-
Knowing they are in service, they serve
Never self, always others
To find the world doesn’t accept them-
Living in the ever lasting hope
The jealousy, envy continues
to destroys their hope
And the chosen -question always- why?
Wondering - they continue
Filled with a will beyond them
Only wishing to tell the world
Of God’s genuine genius
They are blessed to hear
Wondering, praying to be humble
Living in hope that something touches others
Will history remember them?
Or will they be buried in a shallow grave
Swallowed by a world
That denied even God
His glory-
Living in the shadow of a sallow
Unsavory society
We die unknown
Our grave robbed by unkind fates
Even if there is fame in heaven
If life, lived served is so unjust and no glory
For goodness, peace mercy
To help others here-was never found
If we touch no other here, nor were heard
Rewarded for our service, in no way
Lived our whole life
Seeing evil always rewarded
What point is glory in heaven
When not a moment was found here?
