We know love, too few know- how to love
Too many ask love, to serve them
They write, sing of love
Moaning, crying of love lost-
Whining because they threw it away
Or gave it away
Realizing when its too late
Or giving love to be loved
Crying tears in music of love, words of pain
Filled with acid rain, of love gone
Never realizing until its broken
Not knowing if you love
It’s never really lost, if you loved
I’ve loved, lost too many times
To find if it’s really love
It was never wasted
To love is to cherish love, then it’s never lost
When tears fell of acid rain, from love I’ve lost
It was because I tossed around love
That served at times, myself
Only when I learned to love, am I loved
To learn- love
Serving- the loved,
love doesn’t ask to be served
Sometimes those we love
Are better loved by someone else
When we learn to love unconditionally
Not in heat of passion, selfishness
Expecting love to serve our self
Then we find
We are loved for life
By all those whom we loved
Because we prove, we knew how to love
And are for it loved
Never forgotten
By
Those we touched by giving love
Teaching the loved, how to love
Our gift is we are loved
Never leave- love in bitterness- this isn’t love
If we love we are loved- by all we loved
Through life
Who never forget us-
Because we taught-
how to give and be- loved
