The Gift of a German Christmas

Wish you all “Froliche Weinachten”

Your grieving father from Heaven, wills

To be heard, America in German Tradition!

His gift of Angels in “Christkindlmarkes” examples

Beloved is HIS Germany

For weeks wafting, tingly smells

Ginger snaps and fine baked cinnamons, his bread

Christmas in Germany is blessed by the Lord

With deep devotion, to his Christ Child

Who is now Arisen!

Candies for his blissfully bloated bellies

To the “Naschkatze,” snack snatchers

The lifting of spirit in his melodies and praise

Heard by the Lord your God

To his Kingdom in heavenly courts

Sung in cheerful glamour is clamors of

Church bells, and fine examples of his beloved

The Angels sing with thee, and rejoice!

My Germany, “HIS” sweet gingerbread house

He loves thee

Carols of Silent Nights and O Tannebaum

Germany’s gift, Saint Boniface

Our glorious sparkling, shimmering

Christmas Tree’s

To stop the sacrificial pain of his son

Still bleeding wounds from paganisms

Celebrated in his birth

To destroy the lesser God of Thor

Chopping the Dark Angels with an ax

The Holy Wind toppling it

Springing up his Fir Tree, with meaningful Myrrh

God, blesses and brings his Spirit

“The Tree of Life”

Stars falling from Heaven

“MY, branches will be illuminated!”

“You are as sparkling diamond necklaces!”

A paradise play, presenting

His miracle, the Mystery of humble graces

“Your prayers, will be answered

The Lord has returned!”

Sing him Praises!

Bringing forth the child of his spirit

I give birth to the child of the Holy Spirit

Into you, and those whom dwell in his heart!

To shout his good New Year
