THUNDER : Inspirational Poetry

Thunder

They hear the thunder bombs warnings sent from the skies

It cracks, in ears and rattles their foundations

Blinding flashes of jagged lightening sensations

At times solar flares, it knocks out their power

Blows the fuses, strikes and kills their trees

Blow in the computer, experimenting, playing with fire

Jerking EMT waves, sent through satellites, hear warnings

Winds howling at them, screaming a sound of freight trains

Whirling clouds, parting curtains of rain over the earth

Blankets of acid rain, covering the worlds surface

Carrying red tides, soy rust, germs, diseases, chaos

Killing the earths birds, bee’s, animals, sea life-

The oceans and rivers washing up, showing its destruction

Birds dropping dead from the sky, science calling it H5N1

Ice peaks, artic seas melting, delivering ancient virus’s

Beetles, flesh eating bugs, Ebola, mosquitoes, plagues

Killing bites, lightening and thunder it devouring humans

Mother Earth flashing, screaming her warnings, few heed

Thunder smacking, earthquakes shaking, fires burning

Draught, swollen bellies of earths children, land desolate

Man made damns busting their flood gates, rivers gorging

Ice storms killing crops, half the bee’s gone, no fruit

Strange weather patterns, science explains, agree too late
