Blue eyed Dove miracles

Two blue eyed painted eye birds

Landed on an awning in my bird oasis

Basking in the sun as I watched

Fawn in color, gold feathers on their necks

Both tinged with royal blue colors

A pair mating

The male doing his dance

Fluffed up his feathers, preening

Beautiful blue painted eye lids

The female shy and quivering-

Kissed and pecked back a few times

Waiting, longing

They were patient, loving

The male was a site to see

His beauty beyond any bird

I have ever seen, so close-

He marched back & forth

Showing off his beautiful feathers

A site to see was this duality

Of a perfect show of flying doves

Loving, respecting- patiently awaiting

Many birds mate for life

Beautified success in love

Is bird nature

Blessed am I to see

These miracles that fly

In our skies

Thankful I saw true love of

Blue eyed doves

Knowing it’s a sign

Of a coming miracle
