Sharing my Christmas! : Christian Poetry

Christmas day

A few more presents to wrap for my grandson!

Grandma hasn’t seen him for a year and half

I have cookies and gingerbread all iced and stacked

Sparkling with candy and cinnamon hots

We threw out the turkey last year for steaks

Twice baked potatoes and homemade rolls

I will play music, and laughter will waffle in the air

Nobody believes in Santa Claus here

We write checks for our kids who are mostly in school

My step daughter Drew goes to Law school

My son Beau was an air man, he earned his GI bill

He struggles to pay child support

So, I flew his son here

Beau is getting his degree in physics and science

His plan to make the world free of a cosmic end

My step son Joe is in college to but he is not sure

What it is he is to do

My daughter Tess graduated with a double degree

She’s fluent in Spanish, and business

Her fiancé Eric will come, they will be married in July

My youngest Emily is studying to be a elementary teacher

Children to be proud of, I can’t help but praise them

Ghee, in some ways I am happy I have raised them

I can feed them, and love them and hug and kiss

Clean up the mess and send them home

Cept Beau junior I am keeping him

For a few days

I hope your Christmas is blessed as mine

With children, happiness love and no whines!

I checked all the toys they are working just fine

Heck, I played with them all and had a great time!

Batteries all charged, everything’s aglow!

Just some frost, no snow

Merry Christmas from a happy

Emotionally stable

Christian mom!

Who’s children grew up raised in principles

That leave them happy

And thankful all year long!

Thanks everyone who reads my poetry, I realize at times I freak you out, its part of a higher plan

To evolve you all to think of what’s important. I did my fasting its now been 26 days of praying

To make the world a better place, soon I will give you directions to clean your houses of ill will

And unhappiness! To bring you all a better New Year
