A slave trade to want, have, “me”
Materialism, self interest
The give me must have, -greed
Of anything, everything
For the benefit of self,
and the self, in the interest of wealth
A capitalism of eating itself,
greed ate America- then the world
Cannibalizing itself
The unethical robbery of borrowing,
against tomorrow.
Endangering our freedom, destroying hope
Destroying opportunity
Until the barons of wealth, commerce
Big business owns it all
Controlling all the goods, food, money,
luxury, entertainment.
Sucking the life force out of the worker
For profit, until there is no profit left
And they ate their own future,
in greed, excess.
It has been the golden age of greed.
Now there are so few haves
Leaving the world with have not’s
Greed gambled the stock market,
All commodities, pushing for more greed
With money no-= one really had
Still rewarding themselves with greed
Until there was nothing but debt
Money on fake paper
They gambled with more greed
And they lost.
Now all is lost.
Everyone sold their soul to greed.
And to have, what they could not afford
Now there will be only
They have not.
