EARTH HOUR : Inspirational Poetry

Today is Earth hour

For one hour at 8pm, March 28^th, 2009 everyone on the planet is asked to shut their lights, televisions and any-non essential electrical power- off.

Earth hour was started in Australia and is a message of hope, action for the people of earth- to stop global warming.

Before it stops us.

Earth hour started in 2008 and is used as a symbolic message - to get the word out and heighten response to global warming.

Earth hour is an international event organized by the WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature/Wildlife Fund)

It is the last Saturday of March yearly. Currently 82 countries and 2100 cities are committed to the event.

This would be a good time to light candles, play games and talk.
