My Papa
(Feb 1934- Feb 2004)
I thought I have never seen God
When you are gone,
Now I realize I have been all the time with God.
Your kind eyes full of showing love
Your lovely face full of serenity
Your soft touch full of extending comfort
Your heavenly embrace full of giving warmth and strength
Your voice capable of healing deep wounds.
You were my spiritual Guru (teacher)
You were my professional mentor
You were my sorrow healer
Above all you were my creator.
I love you for everything you did for me
I love you for letting me do everything I desired.
I love you for bringing me into this lovely world
I love you for making me appreciate happiness and sorrows.
I love you and grateful to you till eternity
I love you for being my PAPA
PS- My dearest papa Bimlesh Chandra Pandey, was a great mathematician,
loving and caring husband and a very affectionate father.
He shared his great thoughts with me, guided me through thick and thin,
and made me a complete woman of substance. He
taught me to learn from every situation and cherish little happiness,
and move on with beautiful life.
This poem is dedicated to those beautiful memories of my father
Which I keep in my heart every moment, which makes me, feel loved
And nurtured by him unconditionally and motivates me to do the same
to my baby Jeevika and loving husband Claude .
