PASSION IN THE MOONLIGHT : Romantic Poetry

written by Poet : Trishia Ooi Leng Choo

Passion in the Moonlight

In the moonlight of serene nights

By the lakes even the beaches

Where presence of tranquillity strongly felt

The moonbeam smiles amusingly

As though in a play or dance

Playing a moment of hide and seek

Sometimes hidden but most of the time naked

Exposing its brightness of transcending purity in nature

Like a potion of enchantment being released

Inviting and prodding for a gentle embrace

Spurring the puny ones to an eccentric desire

For passion and love beyond ones experiences

Oh, the moonbeam explodes into wild laughter

Dancing or squirming no more

For there lies a silhouette more attractive

Two bodies entwine in embrace

Exude in a passionate kiss

Cool breeze brushes through their bodies

Giving a tinge of exhilaration

As they roll on the beach

Consume in this passion affair

Lost completely in their own world

Like a fiery wave enfolding a lost ship in a fog

The pounding of hearts and the intimacy they both share

As the man poises above her

Fine hands that fondle and explore

The soft silk slender body beneath him

Arching against him she yearns for him

His lips press upon hers hard and fervidly

She submits obediently as he thrusts into her

A wonderful feeling of being oneness and love

Gently but in a fervent desire

A moan of pleasure explodes

Like an explosion burst within her

In this heat of passion

Above them, the moonbeam continues to smile amusingly
