Many times in our lives
we seek ultimate aims
things we want desperately
name it all
from wealth to success
from power to glory
yet we never once forget our freedom
freedom to do what we want,
say what we like with discernments
not to humiliate people in criticism
neither to demoralise nor tarnish one's image
but a freedom of speech
Speak of our rights
tell the truth of what we have been denied of
speak of our mind that no one can perceive
speak of the unspeakable
corruptible politicians
unscrupulous leaders and irresponsible authorities
pretentious missionaries or occults
misleading and devastating
they are like a wolf in the sheep's clothings
devilish in its nature
taking advantages those around them
Where is our dues ex machine
we want to compel our desire
to let others know lest they too fell into their traps
no longer would we stand in silence
doomed if we ever do
as if chained forever without a voice
like a leash tied around our necks
choking us the moment we want to say the word of truth
Oh, fathers of fathers, mothers of all and children of our own
let today be the witness
let there be freedom for all mankind
no longer like pets in cages with mouth straps
we want to be like birds soaring high in the sky
looking down at beautiful oceans and mountains
chirping and singing in different melodies
we want our freedom!
