You're here.
I stand under the blazing sun, the warmth clinging to my skin.
...and I know you're here.
You're apart of all the world around me...
Your spirit is inside of every fresh face that gives me a bright smile..
Down this tumultuous road I have traveled, I realize you were with me every single mile.
You have others to watch over... but you come to visit me too
I know you're here.
You're the wind kissing my lips
You're the brightest star in the sky
The lush grass below my feet
That twinkle in my eye
My last thought in my head, while laying in bed
Before I drift off to sleep
I know you're here...
And you will be there inside me, when the time comes for me to take my last breath.
And then when I find you up there...
In the form of an Angel
Just call my name, I'll be here
And then you can take me in your loving arms and say,
"I know you're here."
